What to wear your boots with in winter?

Boots with a skirt

This is probably the most essential combination for wearing boots in winter:mini, short or above the knee, the boot skirt is yours! Avoid the fashion faux pas of intermediate lengths which pack down, short skirts are the best allies of ankle boots. For a rock silhouette, pair a short skater-style skirt with black tights, a perfecto and black biker boots. Rather femme fatale? Bet on a pencil skirt with a close-fitting sweater and ankle boots with high, thin heels. As for finding a comfortable everyday look, simply pair leggings with round toe flat boots, a stretch knit miniskirt and an oversized sweater.

Boots with shorts

Shorts in winter? Why not, as long as it is associated with warm wool tights, or even lined with fleece for extreme cold. Opt for wedge boots, laced boots or biker boots with classic denim shorts. Try the chic version with black woolen shorts, matched with leather tights and boots in the same color. Or dare the "preppy" look, by pairing smooth velvet cuffed shorts, ribbed wool tights, a V-neck sweater or a pleated shirt with the essential Chelsea boots! And as long as you have fun, choose the associated range of colors by mixing beige, khaki, navy, burgundy and other greys.

Boots with pants

If you choose to match your boots with pants, two options:hidden boots or revealed boots. The hidden boots lengthen the legs in a 70's way, by declining ankle boots with square or wedge heels, thin and preferably in worn skin or leather. This, under wide pants or flared legs! Do you love your boots and prefer to show them off? Bet on the 80's rock silhouette with slim pants, tucked into the boots or rolled up just above... unless you bet on the 90's with ripped grunge jeans and laced boots. And why not dare, for a winter evening, pair a pair of low boots with slim leather or imitation leather?

Boots with a tunic

The boots still hide a trick under their sole, and not the least. If you're looking for comfort without sacrificing style, go for leggings! It looks like tights, is comfortable like jogging and hides wonderfully under a winter tunic. In other words ? Oversize T-shirt, knit dress, giant sweatshirt, flannel shirt borrowed from your partner's drawer… Slip leggings into your favorite boots, from the dressiest to the most comfortable, from pointed leather to fur-lined leather. Attention, on the other hand, no question of associating boots with visible leggings, knee length or mid-calf...
