According to a survey carried out by the Ipsos research center on the occasion of the Salon International de la Lingerie last month, women and men do not have the same desires when it comes to underwear. Amazing?
The study was based on 1,099 people aged 16 and over, who answered a questionnaire to better understand everyone's expectations. And the result was not long in coming, since today only 1% would buy lingerie more than once a month. The French would not yet consider underwear a necessary purchase.
In terms of preferences, tastes and colors do not diverge as much as one might think. It is true that women will always tend to look for comfortable underwear before being sexy, as 80% of respondents said. For the materials too, the choice is not debatable with 64% who would prefer to wear panties, thongs and thongs in cotton rather than lace (that said, nothing prevents being sexy in cotton).
Gentlemen obviously have a penchant for naughty lingerie but the difference is not that significant, since only 56% of men would have this preference compared to 44%. Real proof of good faith or simple desire to please, in any case a new page is turning.
Who says lingerie, can say sentimental life! And to find out if there is a link between the two, the same question of comfort and material was asked of women when they are in a relationship or single. Intriguing answers with 22% who would wear sexy lingerie, being alone, against 19% with their spouse. And if we were more naughty single?
