Not long ago I wrote an article about the Sylvie Meis bikini and baby bubbles 😉 . A strange combination, I hear you think, but nothing could be further from the truth. Anyway, if you want to read that, you can see below where you can find that blog. What matters is that I also wrote about the priceless Marlies Dekkers bikini that I have. Has been around for years, but expensive that it was! I have now spotted a lingerie outlet where you can find all the cool designers lingerie and swimwear together. Useful! And well affordable. I'll tell you more about that below, but first let's talk about lingerie and sizing…

A well-fitting bra is important, if not vital. There's nothing more annoying than having a nice tight dress on, with a bra that doesn't fit properly. Then you just end up somewhere with the baby bubbles described above, even if you don't have a baby yet! But when does your bra actually fit? I have found that to be quite a challenge.
If the bra is too large, the material will flutter and wrinkle around your breasts. Not nice if you're wearing a tight dress, you understand that. And with a bra that is too small, you get those extra 'bumps' above your bra edge, making it look like you have extra fat there. Or bulging breasts, as in the photo above. And I should know, because with time (read:when I start the fight with the baby bubbles again), a tight dress or shirt turns out to be not so smart anymore.
Not surprising in itself, because did you know that your bra size can change quite a bit? You are simply not in the same shape every season. I don't have to explain to you that your breasts change when you're pregnant or giving birth. But your breasts also 'change' size outside that period. For example, if you consider in the spring that you would like to create a bikini-proof body. Then keep in mind that your bras will no longer fit nicely. Because besides that you lose weight in the places where you want to, your breasts certainly participate in the fat burning process. Pretty handy if you can find a lingerie outlet to replenish your lingerie sets with the right size.
A bra 'does' a lot for you. As a girl or woman you feel a lot more confident with a well-fitting bra. If you wear a bra that is too small, it will not look good. The shape of your breasts plays a role in determining whether a bra size is right for you or not.
There are many calculation tools on the internet for calculating your bra size. I've tried a few (just google for bra size calculation and you're there), but I don't get it. According to the calculation methods of various sites, you have to measure the bottom width and chest width. And then I arrive at a bra size 80 or 85A. huh? What I know for sure is that that's not right at all;). I usually switch between C and D. But I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong when measuring. So.
If you try on a bra, it is important that you correctly determine that you have found the right bra size. How do you do that? You can check this by bending over and letting your breasts 'fall' into the bra cups. You must then have the bra fitted to your breastbone.
At the back you have the bra secured on the first hook so that your bra is not too tight and you can always tighten it even more. The closure of your bra at the back should be level with the bottom of your bra at the front. If you look from the side in the mirror, you will see that it is aligned. Of course you can adjust the bra straps even further.
Now check whether you see any wrinkles and whether your breasts are nicely cushioned by the bra. If you use an underwire bra, make sure that you absolutely do not feel the underwire. If you can feel it now, when you put it on, it will definitely irritate if you wear it longer. yes; experience expert 😉 .
Are you sure which size you need? Then it's time to go shopping! And shopping for great prices is always fun, so I can heartily recommend this lingerie outlet. In addition to all kinds of lingerie, the outlet shop also offers swimwear for women, men's fashion and children's underwear and other beachwear.
The range (and that is not a small range) includes well-known names such as Marlies Dekkers, Sapph and After Eden. But ten Cate and Supertrash are also present. Are you pregnant and are you looking for a nursing bra? Don't worry, they also have those at great prices from well-known brands such as Cake Maternity and HOTmilk.
Since it is a lingerie outlet it is useful to at least select tailor-made at the top. This way you don't have to indulge yourself with a nice set that ultimately doesn't fit your size (anymore). During my snoop, I noticed that they still have more than enough models available in all sizes, so no worries.
