From November 1 to November 3, the 11th edition of the international and interdisciplinary fashion festival Faschionclash will take place in Maastricht. During this three-day festival, more than 100 emerging designers and (performing) artists from all over the world have the opportunity to show their work to a diverse, international audience. The multidisciplinary program includes fashion shows and presentations, exhibitions, master classes, fashion talks, theater and dance performances and more.
FCF stands for discovering, stimulating and co-designing current developments in fashion and making these developments accessible to a wide audience. FCF functions on the one hand as a podium for (fashion) designers and (performing) artists and on the other as a manifestation in which the role of fashion in the context of society is questioned and used to create dialogue. The festival is an idiosyncratic amalgamation of art disciplines such as (fashion) design, theatre, dance, film, and visual arts and welcomes the vanguard artists who look beyond their discipline and prioritize substantive context.
The connecting context on which the content of the festival program is based are the core values of FC from which all activities are developed:'The Clash', 'Fashion Makes Sense' and 'Community'.
