After the great success in London and Paris, Vogue Netherlands is organizing the Vogue Fashion Festival in Amsterdam for the first time this year. On October 6 and 7, Vogue will completely take over the legendary Amstel Hotel, with two days packed with seminars and master classes with the biggest national and international fashion icons. On Friday, Monica Rose, the celebrity stylist responsible for the red carpet looks and airport outfits of superstars like Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Chrissy Teigen, will be in attendance. A day later, another star stylist takes the stage:Meredith Koop, who has spent the past few years working at the White House as Michelle Obama's regular stylist. Besides them, fashion greats such as Viktor &Rolf, Sander Lak from Sies Marjan, Pernille Teisbaek, Dean &Dan Caten from Dsquared, Ronald van der Kemp, Negin Mirsalehi, Veronika Heilbrunner and Jan Taminiau will also speak.
There is also the Influencer Talk, a panel discussion about diversity in fashion, Word on the Street about the immense success of Dutch streetwear labels, a seminar in which Zalando and MOAM Collective explain their brand new collaboration. If you've always wanted to know what it's like to work at Vogue, you can speed dating with the editors. In Vogue World, visitors can immerse themselves in the world of Vogue. There are make-up touch-ups from MAC Cosmetics, hair styling sessions from Rob Peetoom and Kérastase, styling clinics from the Bijenkorf and Philips gives steam and ironing workshops.
A day ticket for Vogue Fashion Festival costs 129 euros.
