What do you think? Young girls in bikini or not? More and more you hear noises that young girls should not be walking around in bikinis. That this 'probably' would call for immoral thinking and that it is not good for the self-image of the young children that they identify with their mothers, who also wear a bikini.
Wow, what a statement!
First of all, I wonder why it wouldn't be good for the self-image of young girls to wear a bikini. When I look around I see nothing but little children who want to identify with their parents. Walking in high heels, putting on a bra, putting on lipstick, my girl loves this kind of dress up all the time. And of course preferably with a girlfriend. I personally see no harm in that.
In addition, my daughter's self-image will really rise if she walks next to me in a bikini 😉 . I have lost that tight body and that bikini-proof body from the past.

But besides that… how bad is it that we have to worry about this now. I used to just walk around in pants when I was 6 or 7 years old, I think. And luckily I hear Doutzen Kroes say exactly the same during the presentation of her new bikini line. Her daughter also still walks around in panties. Now she will soon be 'only' 3, but she will really attract a bit more attention than my daughter 😉 .
Do you realize that your girl is more likely to be harassed by annoying guys -or maybe men- if she walks around in a bikini? Do you allow yourself to be influenced by this and then make sure that your girl walks around in a bathing suit?
Let's be honest:when my daughter puts on a pair of jeans with a top that actually belongs to her underwear during a dress-up party at home, she knows she can't go out with them on the street. I don't think that's necessary. But a bikini just while swimming or on holiday… what is this about?
Am I so naive or do you also think that we should stop with this nonsense. Young girls whether or not in a bikini? Let them decide for themselves! What they feel good about should be the rule, right?
