It's been a while since I've done a beauty review, and I'm really excited to tell you more about Minéral 89 Eyes from Vichy. Especially because this eye cream comes just in time. It works excellently to make the skin around the eyes smoother and to visibly reduce the dark circles and bags under your eyes.

The purpose of this moisturizing eye contour cream is therefore to reduce fine lines under the eyes (there are enough) and dark circles. You use the cream in the morning and in the evening for the best results. No sooner said than done, so I'm going to get started with the tips against skin aging and this eye gel.
Minéral 89 Eyes is the little sister of Minéral 89 itself, a cream against aggressive influences such as pollution, stress and fatigue that moisturizes your skin and makes it glow. Even though the latter is suitable for all skin types, it is important to treat the fragile skin a little more carefully around the eyes.
Let me start with the outside. What a stylish bottle. I love this shade of blue and it looks so fresh in the bottle no matter what it does to your eyes 😉 . A pump is also always handy and hygienic for application, although you have to wait and see whether you can completely empty the bottle with it, which is a small disadvantage of such a pump.
The eye cream from Minéral 89 eyes is a light fresh eye gel that you only need a small drop of, which is nice. On the other hand, I don't like applying the gel very much. But that is simply a 'gel' effect. With regular eye cream I always have the idea that it absorbs better and my skin is a bit softer. On the other hand, the gel -once it is absorbed- leaves absolutely no greasy feeling, which I think is a positive. Let it soak in for a while and you can put on an eye pencil without any problems without it running out. There is no strong smell to the gel, which is also a plus for me.
I apply the Minéral 89 under my eyes with a light patting motion to let the hyalonic acid, mineral water and caffeine do its work. Hyalonic acid has a moisturizing effect and I see that myself when I use this eye gel. Although I don't seem to get the same result every day, but that will undoubtedly have other causes. Read:go to bed late, have a few wines, and so on.
I have been using the eye gel for a few weeks now and I do indeed see a fresher look after using it. It's just not that it's a permanent result. So I have to keep moisturizing to keep that fresh look. But hey, I've been happy for a long time that my eyes are at least less tired now and then and that even without my daily cappuccino.
