Can't you do anything with your unruly hair? From now on you can blame your parents. Scientists have discovered three genes that can make your hair unmanageable.
If you have a mutation in one of those three genes, the cross section of a hair is not round (for straight hair) or sloping (for curls), but heart-shaped. As a result, your hair becomes fluffy, stands out in all directions and/or is difficult to brush.
