Why not glass jars?
With creams in a glass jar, light and air easily enter, which does not benefit the effect of the cream and hygiene. It is best to choose a bottle with a pump system or a tube, in which the cream is not exposed to light and bacteria on your hands.
Low concentrations of active ingredients
According to Dr. Jetske Ultee (research doctor in cosmetic dermatology) a cream in a glass jar most likely does not contain high concentrations of active ingredients. If this is the case, the cream will turn brown due to oxidation.
