Very unfortunate if you look in the mirror halfway through the day and have to conclude that there is no longer a trace of that even layer of foundation. With the following 8 tips, your foundation will stay in place better.
1. Apply foundation to clean skin
Apply foundation to clean skin after your day cream. Do you often get oily skin during the day? Then make sure you have blotting papers in your bag to dab the oily layer from your face.
2. Choose the right foundation
There are different types of foundations, which can turn out differently on every skin type. Do you have oily skin? Then skip oil-based foundations. If you have dry skin, a cream foundation could be something for you.
3. Use primer
Primer is a base that ensures that your make-up, including foundation, stays in place.
4. Do not use too much foundation
A thick layer does not mean that the foundation will stay on your face all day. Stick to a thin layer.
5. Fix your foundation with powder
Powder not only makes your face more matte, it will also make your foundation last longer.
6. Spray a little water on your face
Spray water mist over your face after applying your make-up.
7. Use a brush or sponge
Do you apply your foundation with your fingers? Try a brush or sponge. It can make a difference in how long your foundation lasts.
8. Switch foundation
Doesn't it get better? Chances are that it is the foundation, in combination with your skin type. Try a different variety or brand.
