/ We start by drawing a line in the middle (or on the side according to your tastes). We then start the African braid from the hairline. We take a wick large enough, so that the braid is about 2 centimeters thick.
/ To press the braid against the skull, we add small locks as we braid. To give relief to the hairstyle, we only add wicks from the bottom of the braid (it allows to "lift" it a little).
/ We continue braiding to the ends, then tie with a transparent elastic.
/ Repeat the operation on the other side of the line.
/ The final touch:tying the braids. We fix them at the nape of the neck with bobby pins, then we let the lengths come back on the shoulders.
Tips:A second mirror is very handy to see what you look like from the side or from behind. We don't hesitate either to hang the two strands in a bun, to separate them into three strands to make only one braid at the end... In short, we have fun!
