Find a good anti-wrinkle cream depending on your skin type and the desired effects, it is often mission impossible! Between the anti-aging treatments , youth creams and facial serums which promise firmness, correction and radiance, you never really know which product to turn to. But above all, we wonder which treatment will be the most effective in reducing the signs of aging on the skin .
To see more clearly, the monthly magazine 60 million consumers focused, in its April issue, on daytime anti-wrinkle creams currently sold on the cosmetics market. A dozen references were blind tested by a panel of women, aged 40 to 70, for 28 days. At the end of the survey, the results were based on the overall satisfaction of the testers, the performance of the products, their prices, their compositions as well as their score in the Cosmeto'Score of 60 million consumers . Verdict? Only two products stand out ! At the top of the ranking, with the score of 11.5/20 , the Age Focus anti-wrinkle day cream by Nocibé . It stands out in part thanks to its proven effectiveness on crow's feet - small wrinkles at the outer corners of the eyes -, the firmness of the skin and its affordable price (€24.95 for 50 ml). In second place, Q10 Cien skincare from Lidl (€2.99 for 50 ml) has been talked about, not for its composition which needs to be reworked, but for its performance on the roughness of the skin, especially on crow's feet.
Journalists from 60 million consumers are clear, there are no miraculous products! Because even if some anti-wrinkle creams "improve the appearance of the skin and comfort", underlines Sylvie Metzelard editor-in-chief of the magazine on France Info , however, wrinkles are a natural process of skin aging. Clearly, they cannot disappear overnight, unless you have recourse to aesthetic medicine and again. Moreover, with 38 ingredients on average, these anti-wrinkle creams analyzed have formulations that are far too heavy, with undesirable substances such as allergens and silicones.
Despite everything, in its conclusion the review reminds us that a healthy skin holds if it is well hydrated and protected from UV rays on a daily basis , "avoiding tobacco and alcohol".
