Wearing heels daily can create, in the long term, a retraction of the calf (=you can no longer put it on the ground). Better to prevent by stretching the muscle. Proceed one foot at a time:standing, back straight, toe against a wall, heel on the ground, straighten the leg and bring the hips forward towards the wall to accentuate the stretch. We hold the position for one minute (less if it hurts).
And to relax tired feet, use a toe relaxer from Yogatoes (available on the yogopro.com website, for $39.95, or about €29.60). This small device relieves the pain of abused toes (heels, shoes that are too tight, etc.). Better, by spreading the toes, it also allows relaxation of the whole body. At first, it can be uncomfortable, so we start by using it for 10 minutes. Then we extend the sessions up to 1 hour a day.
