A priori, it's a spa like the others, with a list of well-being massages, facial treatments, a hammam... except that we are gradually plunged into darkness as we walk through the spa and practitioners are blind.
We tested a one-hour tailor-made massage and it must be recognized that the touch is not at all the same as with the usual masseurs. The fact that the practitioner is blind is really felt, the contact with the skin is more frank, more supported. The massage was extremely pleasant:with complete darkness, you lose all sense of time (and you avoid focusing on a decorative element, on the floor of the room, etc.), you relax more quickly and it's a true happiness.
As for the hammam, it is very clean, with a very beautiful decoration (the ceiling is starry). It is small but it does not feel cramped and we would stay there all afternoon chatting with friends.
There are now two “Dans le Noir” spas? », one in Paris and a franchisee in Bordeaux. The prices are affordable (€52 for a 30-minute tailor-made massage, €37 for an express facial treatment, etc.), the staff are adorable, both at reception and on the practitioner side. It is an address that we take note of very preciously to make beautiful gifts to our friends as to us!
