The promise. Following the same principle as eyelash extensions, these fill in sparse eyebrows:one by one, the extensions are attached to the root of the hairs and can even be applied directly to the skin, to fill a hole for example. The lifespan is about 3 weeks (depending on the natural hair growth cycle), a little less when stuck on the skin. Good to know:it is possible to apply extensions in addition to pigmentation, to give a thick side to the eyebrow.
Crash test. After meticulous depilation and restructuring, the work of filling begins. Eyes closed, you feel absolutely nothing, except the coldness of the tweezers with which the beautician places the false eyebrows on the real ones. The service lasts from 25 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the amount of hair to be fixed. The result is stunning:I've never seen my eyebrows so full, and the extensions are undetectable. For 24 hours, formal prohibition to wet or touch them. Then, I'm recommended not to use a two-phase makeup remover (the fat takes off the extensions) and to touch them gently.
Verdict. If I was very enthusiastic from the start, I was a little disappointed afterwards:5 days after installation, many extensions had already fallen out (especially those glued to the skin), while I was careful ( no make-up remover and delicate gestures to wipe my face after the shower). In addition, some glue dots have whitened and are visible (not to mention that you can feel them to the touch). Too bad, because the initial result was really great and the service is quite expensive (120 € for the initial installation, 50 € for the interview), so I was hoping to be able to show off for 3 weeks...
