Minds are more open than before when it comes to looks, but there are still many limits that should not be crossed. When the outside thermometer exceeds 20°C, few women want to slip their feet into closed shoes. Sandals may be allowed in the workplace, as long as you don't fancy yourself at the beach. It is also important to keep informed of the rules in this area in your company. Not everyone shares the same vision on the subject. If sandals are accepted, bet on chic and quality models. Of course, flip flops, flip flops and other plastic sandals are to be avoided. Shoes should be rather elegant and restrained. Sandals in black or camel tones are therefore the most appropriate. You can, however, opt for color if the rest of the outfit is sober. But don't forget that you are not going to the carnival!
It's important to avoid extremes like flip-flops and stilettos. Flip flops will give you a sloppy and way too casual look. As for stilettos, they risk being perceived as vulgar. If flat sandals have the advantage of being comfortable, you have to be careful of the typical "clac clac" of flip-flops that they could make at work. A good alternative is to bet on wedge sandals, which go wonderfully with dresses, skirts and pants. You can also wear shorts, as long as they are elegant, with a printed blouse. For the morning, do not hesitate to wear a blazer type jacket. Another great look with a pair of wedge sandals is black tapered pants and a white camisole.
Wearing sandals to work takes a bit of preparation. Indeed, the feet should not be neglected, but particularly cared for. After months of winter locked in boots and other boots, the toes clearly need to be pampered. This is why you must exfoliate to remove dead skin, sand off calluses if necessary, apply a good moisturizer and put on nail polish. For those who love colors, the preferred shades are coral and red. For others, bet on a pretty nude or light pink. With sandals, dresses that are too short, which have no place at work, are also to be avoided, as are transparent clothes. Also avoid mixing prints and accumulating too many colors. Limit yourself to three colors (this is the rule) and prints for the bottom or for the top only. You're not doing a show during Fashion Week, so it's important to stay sober. Don't forget that the image you project affects your reputation.
