Round, oval, rectangular sunglasses… what shape for my face?

Round, rectangular, oversized or retro sunglasses… which frame for my face?

First criterion to take into account:the shape of your face. Indeed, your little face has a great influence on the effect obtained and the search for harmony that we so desire. That's why some models you no longer like once you have them on your nose! A round face with round glasses may not be the best idea...To be sure:you can decide to choose a sunglasses frame whose shape is the opposite of the shape of my face.
– If you have a round face, then you will opt for a square frame.
– An elongated face? We choose an oversize model to shorten the face.

– When we have a heart-shaped face, we throw ourselves on the retro models that highlight you.
– A hexagonal face will have to s Orient towards light frames so as not to accentuate the width of the face. A "cat eye" shape or an open frame at the bottom of the lenses are ideal.
- Finally, if you have an oval face, you can wear anything! Whatever you choose, take care that the frame doesn't hide your eyebrows:it's more aesthetic!
Also remember that by covering your eyes, you draw attention to your mouth... Why not? so make it up? If you plan to stay in public space and you are not wearing a mask, that goes without saying.

How do I determine my face shape?

You can assess your face shape yourself. All you have to do is measure your face or carefully observe its contours.

– If your forehead is rather narrow with a thin chin and high cheekbones, you probably have an oval face. It is the face shape considered ideal, because its proportions are the most harmonious.

– If the length of your face is equal to its width, you have a round or square face. Then observe the lines of your jaw and the root of your hair:between curves and angles, it is easy to tell the difference.

- A face that is longer than narrow? You have an elongated face.

-Your forehead is the widest part of your face and you have rather high cheekbones and a thin chin? You have a heart-shaped face. Often, this face shape has a heart or "V" shaped implantation.

-You have a hexagonal or "diamond" face if your cheekbones are the widest part of your face. A small forehead and narrow chin, often symmetrical, are also typical of the hexagonal face.
