A few months ago I tested the collagen powder for a drink from RevitalTrax. In my previous blog you can read more about that review after using it for a few weeks. Now I am publishing another blog, because I still use the RevitalTrax collagen powder, but nowadays also in combination with a Vitamin-C Serum. Of course I would like to tell you my current experiences about these products.
Since I often try out different products to write a review about it, it is not very common that I actually use the products for a longer period of time. After all, I remain that frugal Dutchman who also uses up an opened product before starting something else again. However, I have been using RevitalTrax collagen powder for several months now. That in itself says something of course. In addition, a few weeks ago I started with the Vitamin-C Serum from RevitalTrax.
In the past I sometimes took before and after photos with tests, but that is not really something to do. You have to take a photo in the exact same way, in the same pose with the same amount of light to have a fair comparison. In addition, photos can only be edited, so as far as I'm concerned they are not really interesting. What I do find interesting are the many positive reviews I read about the collagen powder from RevitalTrax.
After a few weeks of use, I was already cautiously positive about this powder. Now that I have been using the powder for a few months now, I can say that I have formed a clear opinion about it. I'm happy with it. Very happy even.
I no longer use the RevitalTrax powder every day, but I do use about 20-25 bags per month. After taking it every day for two months, I think it's fine to skip a day if that's convenient. I think the foundation has been laid. The collagen powder seems to me to have the effect I was looking for. No, my wrinkles are not gone. That's a pity, but alas… I think that only works with a little sting here and there, but I don't feel like that much.
I do dare to say out loud that I notice that my wrinkles have become a bit softer † The fine lines around my eyes are reduced and the frown lines on my forehead also seem less deep † In addition, my skin glows more on its own, so that I -with only some mascara on- is actually already satisfied with my reflection.
After a heavy evening with a glass of alcohol here and there, my face is less happy, apparently no collagen powder can compete with that 😉 .
In addition to the improvement in my skin, what strikes me is that I have less hair loss and that my nails are clearly stronger to be. Yay! I can tell you… the early menopause has taken its toll on me when it comes to hair, skin and 'the bottom'. For the latter I now use the Silk'n Tightra and for the former I now use RevitalTrax.
Secretly I sometimes think that I have to do an ultimate test… Now stop taking this collagen powder for a few months, to see if I'm back where I started. But I don't really want to. I am really happy with my appearance at the moment and I want to keep it that way. So I'll leave out the ultimate test for a while.
Because of my enthusiasm for RevitalTrax's powder, I was also eager to try one of their serums. I chose the Vitamin-C Serum as a supplement. Twice a day I spread a few drops of this serum on my dry and clean skin and massage it in lightly. I then leave it on for a while and then use my regular day and night cream as skin care.
I can tell you that it is a wonderful serum. It absorbs well and it smells very nice. The serum contains no alcohol, hormones, parabens or silicones and it is vegan. I don't think it is unimportant. Using this serum makes my skin look fresher and tighter!
Vitamin C is important for the formation of collagen, which is why this serum from RevitalTrax is a nice combination with the collagen powder. In addition, I also believe that products from the same brand can reinforce each other in their effect. Another reason to keep using this serum.
Want to experience it yourself? The different RevitalTrax anti-aging products can be found on their website. Also don't forget to look at the combination deals. If you buy your serum and collagen powder sticks at the same time, it is cheaper than the separate packaging!
