Whether you do a lot of makeup or not, the eyes are usually the first thing that comes to mind when doing makeup. Not so strange of course, because beautiful big eyes and an open look are of course an eye catcher that you say to yourself. I myself have started to vary a bit. From an 'ordinary' eye pencil to a liquid eyeliner. And recently I got to try the Jane Iredale eyeliner from The Luxe Line, an eyeliner for an intense look in seconds.

When I received the package I was quite surprised. That looked nice! Four jars with a beautiful cap on it. The cap itself reminded me of those fountain pens you used to see, with such a long pointed cap. Also such beautiful specimens 😉 . This eyeliner is in any case handy to take with you, if you want to quickly touch up your make-up on the way.
Jane Iredale's products (all products, not just this The Luxe Line eyeliner) are safe to use and are even recommended by plastic surgeons and dermatologists. It is a make-up line that does not clog the pores and gives a minimal risk of allergies. In addition, it is extensively tested that the make-up is very water resistant and the products are tested for hypersensitivity. They do not contain parabens and contain minerals, are not tested on animals, but are dermatologically tested. Suitable for vegans.
Thanks to the coconut glycerides in the The Luxe Line eyeliner, the brush glides very easily along your lash line. The Mystikol® eyeliners have the durability of a liquid eyeliner, but are as easy to use and soft as powder. The soft brush/brush ensures a simple but precise way of application.
Tip:When you remove the cap, pull the brush off and place it upside down on the cap, which is finer than with the small brush in your hand.
The Jane Iredale eyeliner has a creamy structure and is waterproof. Not so waterproof that it is just as beautiful after a day of wave baths as after application of course. But it is definitely waterproof, which I was able to test myself, but more about that below.
With the speed of an ordinary eye pencil, you can create a nice smokey eye if you want. You initially apply the intense look, but can easily fade with the brush. If you do this on the part that runs to the end of your eye, you have a smokey eye in no time. A few more beautiful eyebrows above and you're done!

The Jane Iredale eyeliner from The Luxe Line is available in 4 beautiful colors:
Simply put, available in black, grey, brown and purple. The black color is my favorite, but that's because I just really like dark. I also like gray and brown, but go better with a softer look.
Where is the Jane Iredale eyeliner available? It is available at the better beauty stores but also online, for example at:
A jar costs € 29.00, which is not a small amount, of course, but as far as I'm concerned the quality is such that I would definitely pay for it myself. In addition, it lasts a very long time.
Anyway. That the jars look beautiful is one thing, but does it also work, that is the question of course. After a month of intensive use I can now confirm that it works fantastic! I apply my eyeliner with the greatest of ease these days. I run the brush through the jar and then over my eye. Voilà, there is a beautiful line that is intense in color. You don't have to put any pressure, it really feels a bit like painting.
Tip:For a nice bright effect, I sometimes apply white eyeshadow to Jane Iredale's black eyeliner with a brush. Then you get a bright blue metallic effect on that part, which I really like.
Back to my enthusiasm about this The Luxe Line eyeliner. Julie know that I had an eyelid surgery three months ago. Unread? Then you can still find that article here.

After that eyelid correction, I started greasing the scars after 4 weeks, to ensure that they heal as nicely as possible. You probably get it already… that's greasy on my eyelids. An ordinary eye pencil has no effect on this. But the Jane Iredale eyeliners do! When applied, I don't see any difference whether I apply it on my lid like that or without the scar cream. It may at most be the case that it lasts a little less than with dry eyelids, but that doesn't bother me at the moment.
So I am very happy that I was able to try these out and still use them daily.
