Until today there were only plasters in one skin color in the Netherlands. That is now a thing of the past, because from this week on, plasters in six different skin colors will be for sale in Dutch drugstores for the first time. The patches are an initiative of the Dutch Albert Schweitzer Fund and have a double function, because the proceeds of the patches are used to finance small-scale healthcare projects in Africa:Het Grotere Verband.
The patches are available from today at Etos, Trekpleister and DA drugstores for the suggested retail price of €3.99 per pack of 24 patches. At least €1 of every plaster set sold goes to Africa.
