Just like the gym, facial exercises are not for everyone. Training thirty minutes a day requires some discipline. A number of participants stopped during the study.
The participants who did complete the study trained their facial muscles for twenty weeks. The first eight weeks there was training every day, then reduced to training every other day.
The before and after photos of the people were presented to a dermatologist who was not aware of the study. On average, the participants were estimated to be three years younger in the photos taken after the experiment.
