What can you do about tear eyes?
Cold and gusty winds can provoke tearful eyes. But your eyes also react to the dry air from the heating. To compensate for the dry air, the eyes start to water. Hydration is the keyword.
Hydrate from within So drink plenty of water to maintain the fluid balance in your body. Hang a humidifier in the house if necessary to make the air less dry.
Drop your eyes with a saline solution (available at drugstores and pharmacies)
A saline solution replenishes the fluid in your lacrimal glands, preventing the tear duct from overproducing and reducing tears.
