Unlike Blanco which presents us with a festive and colorful advertising campaign, the fashion house Hugo Boss reveals black and white shots, very Hollywood style. Discover the spring-summer 2012 campaign of the prestigious couture brand.
To present its spring-summer 2012 collection, Hugo Boss imagined a retro communication campaign based on a tribute to Hollywood cinema photographed by Alexei Hay and featuring models Sean O'Pry and Freja Beha Erichsen.
As you may have noticed, the current trend is 50s and 60s. Like Prada or Louis Vuitton and their fifties ad campaign (see here and there), Hugo Boss takes us back in time by presenting us with a signature lookbook from the film Rebel Without a Cause (The Fury of Living in French, editor's note). We also note that the male model is a perfect copy of James Dean.
In terms of style (because it's still the main subject of the campaign), we like the always very elegant costumes of Hugo Boss , the Derbys with white soles, and the leather bowling bag.
