Nothing should stop us from being stylish and elegant. And this in all circumstances; whether it's windy, rainy or -10°C. Exit the layers of woolen sweaters, the big down jacket and the excessively stuffed boots, you can be perfectly covered while being well dressed.
And if we adopted the headgear? We are not satisfied with a black, gray or beige beanie, super classic. There are other alternatives that are just as warm, but much more “stylish”:the felted hat, the capeline or the turban. We also prefer long or leather gloves to mittens and large woolen mittens. As for the scarf, cashmere is the friend of the style, but for small budgets, 100% cotton is just the thing and you can play with patterns.
It is cold, of course, but there is no need to hide under dark colors:pastels and flashy colors are also welcome in winter. Thus, you can tie a belt around a long cardigan, a jacket, a coat or a poncho. Chic effect guaranteed! You can also forget the basic opaque black tights from time to time and let yourself be tempted by printed or colored tights. Clearly, we have fun rather than hiding!
We invest in the essentials:if the light and cheap outfits pass without problem in summer, in winter it is better to invest in a good coat and a nice pair of boots, the goal being to favor the thickness and the elegance of the materials that require superior quality. We opt for high boots, in leather or suede and a wool coat with an XXL collar whose seams will be worked and enhance our silhouette. Speaking of silhouette, it is often difficult to highlight. The trick:play with the volume of winter materials by optical effect or color association. Finally, we do not hesitate to layer the clothes:it is simply necessary that our coat is loose and our jacket sufficiently adjusted.
Easy, right?
