We gave you some, you gave some, your children kept a basketful of them… eggs are still everywhere in your home! So what to do with all this chocolate that reaches out to us and that we can no longer see in paint. No question of wasting or throwing away these good things! That's why we decided to give you some ideas to break up the Easter egg routine a bit! You will be able to make yourself an original coffee, a fondant dessert and a 100% leftover chocolate face mask.
Dark chocolate eggs are often put aside by the youngest:that's good! You will be able to make yourself a homemade face mask. Dark chocolate is known for its antioxidant, emollient and moisturizing properties. It is suitable for all skin types and helps acne-prone skin heal… If you can do yourself some good by getting rid of Easter remains without getting fat:We try it! We will bind the chocolate with honey to make the complexion smooth and radiant, but also with milk to soften and moisturize the skin.
To make this mask:
– 3 small dark chocolate eggs or equivalent (not filled)
– 1 teaspoon of milk
– 1 teaspoon of honey
It's very simple:Start by thoroughly cleansing your skin and then melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave. Add the spoon of milk, mix and then the honey. Here is ! Put on some zen music, grab a good magazine and lie down. Apply the mask while still warm (don't burn yourself!) with your fingers or a brush. The heat of the mask produces a soothing action. A little chocolate caress that you leave on for 15 to 30 minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water.
It's the buzz of the moment and it's right in the theme! This is an ingenious way to reuse all types of hollow chocolate eggs from milk to white to pure. Take a chocolate egg, cut off the top, place it in a small cup, and put everything under your coffee machine. You will be able to drink a good chocolate coffee and you will be a hit during your brunches with friends. The "eggspressos" were born in an Australian mobile coffee bar:"karvan Coffee". A great idea that deserves to be shared and enjoyed on your deckchair without guilt.
Of course, with leftover chocolate you can make lots of desserts. We chose to give you the recipe for the chocolate pie because it's very simple to make, it keeps well and it changes a little from the softness! And since Kinder chocolate is always the star of egg hunt baskets, you might as well reuse it!
For the Kinder pie (6 people), you will need:
– 12 Kinder maxi
– 1 shortcrust pastry
– 10 cl of milk
– 20 cl of liquid cream
Put on your apron and your chocolate playlist (yes, it's easy to sway your hips spatula in hand on "the chocolate woman" by Olivia Ruiz) and let's go!
Preheat your oven to 180°. Spread your dough in the pie pan. Poke small holes with a fork. Blind bake the shortcrust pastry for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the Kinder cut into small pieces over low heat, as well as the milk and cream. Mix without interruption to obtain a smooth and homogeneous texture. (We warn you… it smells excruciatingly good!) . Pour the mixture over the dough and put it back in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes. When everything is good you can decorate while it is still lukewarm and let cool before serving.
We can stay in the Easter theme and use eggs and Kinder Buenos as decoration to make the pie super decadent... Let's enjoy!
