What can go wrong while taking a shower? More than you think. You should not do the following things.
1. You don't wash your washcloths or bath sponge often enough
A damp washcloth or sponge is a breeding ground for bacteria. Therefore, do not let it hang in the shower, but put it in the washing machine regularly.
2. You brush your teeth in the shower and brush too short
While you're multitasking, it's easy to be too rushed when brushing your teeth. Brushing your teeth in the shower is fine, but make sure you brush for two minutes.
3. You shave yourself first
Standing under the warm water for a while will soften the hairs. It is therefore best to wash your hair first and only then start shaving.
4. You shower too hot
It's very tempting when it's this cold outside (and maybe in your bathroom too), but water that is too hot dries out your skin. Preferably stick to a lukewarm shower.
5. You wash your hair every day
We know it can be difficult - after exercise or if your locks are greasy, you prefer to wash your hair - but it is actually not necessary to wash your hair every day. Decreasing can't hurt.
6. You are too heavy handed with your towel
Be kind to your wet skin and hair. Your hair is very brittle when wet, so pat and squeeze it dry instead of rubbing.
