Well protected from the sun under your parasol? So no! According to Spanish researchers from the University of Valencia, the UV protection is quite disappointing.
Despite the parasol, no less than 34 percent of all ultraviolet radiation in to reach the ground. The parasol is able to absorb direct radiation, but offers little protection against the diffuse ultraviolet light, the study shows.
It is therefore also wise to rub your well under the parasol wear a hat to avoid the hottest hours.
