(Here are some storage tips for your hygiene products)
– 0.4g Vitamin E
– 2.4 g essential oil (ylang-ylang, rosewood, lemongrass, mint etc.)
Check that the temperature at which the product becomes flammable is above 65°
– 2.4 g of a natural fragrance
– Aluminum foil
– 1 candle wick
After washing them, disinfect your hands, work surface and equipment with 70° alcohol.
For optimal hygiene, then put on a pair of gloves and a cap.
At the same time, make sure you have no intolerance to fragrance and essential oils.
Start by pouring in the required amounts of soy wax and shea butter in your stainless steel bowl or salad bowl.
Gently mix the preparation using the whisk then melt the preparation in a bain-marie for 4-5 minutes.
While the wax and shea butter are melting, prepare your candle wick .
To do this, measure its length by placing it on your jar, then cut the wick about 2 cm from the edge.
Then dip the wick in the melted preparation.
Spread the wax over the entire length and wrap the wick in aluminum foil.
Then place the wick in the freezer for 5 minutes to harden.
After 5 minutes, take the wick out of the freezer, before placing the metal base at its end.
Then dip the base of the candle in the wax and attach it to the bottom of the jar.
To make it easier, hold the wick straight with a toothpick or pen.
Pour a few drops of vitamin E, essential oil and fragrance into the wax.
Then stir the preparation gently with a whisk.
Finally, pour the wax into your jar.
Let set for a few minutes then place the candle in your fridge until it has completely hardened.
