When we talk about pimples, we actually encompass several kinds of skin imperfections that are not all treated in the same way. The first undesirable, the most harmless, comes in the form of a small, slightly grayish filament of sebum, located near the sides of the nose. Result of a slight accumulation of sebum and dead cells on the surface of the pores, the proliferation of which is easily contained by conventional hygiene care. We go upmarket with the blackhead, an open form of what is called the comedone. The sebum and dead cells accumulated inside the pores form a slight bulge, the surface of which oxidizes and blackens. Sometimes the comedone forms a little deeper and does not open to the surface. We then speak of a microcyst. Not blackening on the surface, it can be easily camouflaged, but it often does not resolve on its own and takes a long time to "ripen". Once ripe, it becomes a simple white pimple that is easily treated, or else... the nasty pustule that we all dread! Last category of unsightly skin lesion:cysts and acne nodules, which often require medical care. In any case, green clay will be the basis of your salvation.
Excellent way to regain clear skin:evening cleansing with clay. For normal to oily skin, use a fairly liquid mixture of green clay and geranium floral water. Apply by soaping in circles, rinse, spray a little floral water and dry. As a night cream, you can opt for a little jojoba oil, added with a drop of carrot essential oil. For oily to very oily or acne-prone skin, mix a little rhassoul with green clay and dilute in rosemary verbenone floral water. Keep the idea of jojoba oil as a night cream, but add a drop of tea tree essential oil instead. Finally, for normal to dry and sensitive skin, gently cleanse with a mixture of green and white clay diluted in rose floral water. Finish with jojoba oil to which you have added a drop of Roman chamomile essential oil.
Exceptionally, to dry a "spot", you can cover it with a thick layer of green clay paste. Once applied, after the jojoba oil, leave on overnight. The next morning, gently remove the remains of clay with a little lotion and without rubbing too much.
Once or twice a week, treat yourself to a healthy and pleasant anti-pimple treatment. Cleanse your skin with your personal clay/floral water mixture and follow with a fumigation for a few minutes. Then apply a thick layer of the clay mask corresponding to your skin type.
