Even if you are not a sewing pro, you can, with the help of a few tips, transform any t-shirt into a super trendy top. First, dig into the t-shirts you no longer want to wear:neither too new nor too old, the main thing is that you still want to wear it. Without needles, you will be able to modernize your most bland tops.
1. In a piece of cardboard, cut out a shape that you want to find on your top:a moon, a star, a heart, a letter... Let your imagination run wild!
2. With double-sided tape, hold your pattern on the back of the t-shirt and cut out the outlines of the shape with scissors. Set the cut fabric aside and turn the t-shirt inside out.
3. Inside the t-shirt, lay a sheet of iron-on lace on the cut-out shape:you can choose from many colors, make sure you match the tones of your t-shirt.
4. Take your iron in the cotton position and a piece of fabric that will cover the lace so as not to attack it with the heat of the iron. The heating action will stick the lace to your t-shirt. Remove the protective fabric and trim the excess lace around your shape.
5. Turn the t-shirt over and admire your work! You can, if you feel like it, cut out the sleeves to get a tank top:an even more feminine effect!
Your favorite t-shirt lacks a serious freshness for a night out? Why not transform it to give it a more current and modern look? With a pair of scissors, a ruler and a few haberdashery nails, give your simplest t-shirts a rock edge. Round or square, silver or gold, the studs match the color of your t-shirt, let your desires go.
1. Lay a ruler from the seam of the sleeve to the low point of the collar. With a chalk, create dots every 5 cm. Laying your ruler vertically, create straight lines from the points towards the top of the t-shirt.
2. Cut with scissors the previously drawn lines.
3. Connect the neighboring strips of fabric in staggered rows with the nails, to create a diamond effect on the front of the t-shirt. Alternate the links on each level by connecting them with different nails.
4. Repeat the same steps on the other side.
5. Roll up the sleeves of the t-shirt for a more modern effect and secure them with another nail.
6. Cut the seam on one side of the bottom of the t-shirt. With the two sides of the t-shirt, form a knot to add an additional feminine detail.
