Yesterday the doors of Westfield Mall of the Netherlands were officially opened. A unique, fully covered shopping and experience mall of 117,000 m² with a four-star service level. The planned festivities will be postponed to a later moment, when the restaurants, cinema and other leisure can also open. Westfield is the first all-encompassing shopping experience of this size in the Netherlands.
The future of retail

The Gallery is also a completely new concept for the Netherlands, where visitors can find an attractive and unexpected mix of designer and lifestyle brands such as Ace&Tate, Skins Cosmetics, Smaak Amsterdam and Miccy's Jewelz on 3,000 m². Varying from a special selection of boutiques, lifestyle shops, coffee shops and pop-up stores, this revolutionary concept in the Dutch retail world makes it possible to create the intimate atmosphere so desired by consumers. Craftsmanship, taste and experience
The fact that Westfield Mall of the Netherlands offers a wide range of flavors is also reflected in the F&B offer. The brand new Eat Theater features a mix of local and well-known eateries. In addition to ample seating, good coffee and kiosks, there are also ten restaurants, including The Butcher and pizza hotspot Toni Loco. The prominent centerpiece of the dining and entertainment area is the elegant gold hanging decorations, which form an enchanting centerpiece. The thirty golden curtains consist of no fewer than 12,251,200 links and have a total surface area of 3,020 m2. In other words, a 235 km long chain, approximately the distance between The Hague and Maastricht.
In addition to the impressive Eet Theater, the Mall also contains the regional destination for daily shopping thanks to the fresh market Fresh!. Bakery at Robèrt from master Patissier and Meester Boulanger Robèrt van Beckhoven, known for, among other things, 'Heel Holland Bakt' can be found here. The heart of Fresh! is the special kitchen in which the Dutch TV chefs Miljuschka Witzenhausen and Hugo Kennis will give a cooking workshop twice a month. The chefs work with seasonal products from the entrepreneurs in Fresh! to inspire visitors in a culinary way. The refrigerated lockers for groceries characterize Westfield Mall of the Netherlands, which is fully equipped.
