Some people feel that no one sees them. Of course not, they just blend in with the crowd. Getting noticed isn't about drawing attention to who you are. It's about making who you are stands out from the crowd. To do this, you need to be comfortable in your own skin. This is only possible if you let go of your insecurities. Here are a few tips.
1. Smile. If you look moody or gloomy, people will probably walk past you. Find something that makes you happy and smile about it – preferably in public.
2. Laugh. When people actually see you laughing at something, they will be intrigued and wonder why you are laughing. View tips here to laugh more.
3. Be healthy. Do you know why attractive people get the most attention? This is because a person's attractiveness can be subconsciously attributed to their health. You don't have to follow the latest diet or spend hours in the gym. All you have to do is shine from within.
4. Listen. People are more likely to remember you when they experience some kind of connection with you. When you listen to people's problems, opinions and stories, they will bond with you because you were able to give them the attention they needed.
5. Improve your skills. Find out what you are good at. Once you know it and maximize that potential, people will start to notice you.
6. Have fun. The best way to connect with people is to do the same things they do. Do what makes you happy, because sooner or later you will find people who appreciate your enthusiasm for a particular hobby, activity or interest.
7. Surround yourself with people. If you only post Facebook posts and Instagram photos, the only people who will notice you are those who follow you. Real people go out and experience life. By doing this, you will be able to connect with other people.
8. Appreciate. Don't be afraid to compliment someone. You don't necessarily have to go up to a person and praise them for a job well done. You can do this by promoting their talent, buying their product or just enjoying what they offer – their talent, time, skills or friendship.
9. Pay attention to other people. The reason no one knows you're there is because they're too busy to wonder if other people are aware of it. Be the bigger person and join your mutual acquaintances at a party or introduce yourself to new people.
10. Don't worry. The more you worry about being noticed, the easier it is to be overlooked. Because you worry consistently, you can't relax and feel uncomfortable doing what you want to do.
