With these tips, your tights will stay intact all day long.
1. Don't just buy tights
Take a good look at which pantyhose you are buying in the store. The more denier, the firmer the tights are. In addition, it is important to pay attention to the size:are you tall or do you have many curves? Then rather buy a size larger, so that you have enough space.
2. Be careful with your nails
Make sure your fingernails and toenails are free of hooks when putting on the tights. You don't want your tights to be broken before you put them on.
3. Wash the tights carefully
If your tights have survived the day, make sure to wash them gently. Hand wash is best. If you do use the washing machine, put the tights in a laundry bag and make sure that no clothes with sharp zippers or edges are in the same washing cycle.
4. Have a plan B
Put a spare pair of tights in your bag and/or make sure you've shaved and cared for your legs. If your tights tear, you will at least have new tights or smooth legs. You can stop starting ladders with a bottle of clear nail polish.
