Now, almost 50 years later, John is still at the helm of Fluevog and opens his first European store in the center of Amsterdam. Each Fluevog store is unique and a moving rack is built in Amsterdam in which the shoes are presented. The store and the shoes can be admired in the center of Amsterdam at the end of March 2018. Not only is the store unique, but the shoes are also admirable. "There are two kinds of people:those who shy away from attention, and those who wear Fluevogs." The shoes are made in a traditional way in small editions. In addition, Fluevog uses eco-friendly leather and water-based glue to minimize the impact on the environment. His motto:good soles leave small sprints (no matter what your shoe size). All shoes can be fully repaired, should something break.
