The Douglas Spring Look 2018 has been 'in store' for a while and I started testing when we were in Villages Nature Paris. I was in the spring mood, so a great time to take the make-up with me and fully test it. I received an eyeshadow palette, blush pearls, a flower Kabuki brush and two flower lipsticks in the Douglas Spring Look 2018 package.

First of all, it must be said that it all looks super nice. I was particularly charmed by the lipstick and the blush pearls, at least in appearance, but I'll walk through them all with you.
This eye palette looks pretty fresh at first glance, and it is. It is a bit of a shame that the three light colors are very close to each other. You don't see many of those three light shades on my face. I like the dark pink shade. I thought this color wouldn't suit me at all, but in the end I have to adjust that judgment. Normally I use a relatively dark eyeshadow (when I use eyeshadow, because I don't do that every day) but this color is also fine. I think it's best to use this color under my eyebrows. I then apply it with my finger and it gives my look a slightly warmer glow 😉 .
I only use the light shade to dot the corner of my eye so that it lights up a bit.
Not a very surprising palette, but great to have in the stash for the summer to come for a light make-up.

Almost mouth watering, I open the box with the blush pearls. Oh this always looks beautiful <3 . That's why it's nice to have. A 3-in-1 product with the colors of a bronzer, a blush and a highlighter in one. Each color in its own gem and then mixed.
I have to say that I haven't tried blush pearls before so I can't compare them, but I found them quite disappointing myself. Yes, it looks nice (Lotte also fell in love instantly), but I don't really see much of it when I put it on. I miss pigment but also find it difficult to get 'enough' powder on the brush.

I am very enthusiastic about the Flower Kabuki brush. It is ultra soft and because it is a 'short' brush I like it so much to use. It fits nicely in the hand. Moreover, it looks fantastic on the sink 😉 . I use it with my other products and not just for the blush pearls.

I also thought the flower lipstick looked so beautiful. Funny detail is that they are delicate perfume balms. The color is in the middle and there is a transparent layer around it.
The flower lipstick yields something different than a regular lipstick because the color is only in the middle. The advantage is that you don't 'color' outside the line so quickly;) . What I find a pity is that there is only a gloss on your lips for a very short time. I am not a big fan of the matte look of a lipstick. I prefer – if I wear something anyway – a beautiful natural color with a shine that lasts a little longer. It is available in three different shades.
